About Debt Game Over

I am a proud member of the credit card debt free club, but it hasn’t always been that way.

From a young age I was introduced to getting credit cards, obtaining student loans to go to college and of course, signing my name on the dotted line of a new car.

After years of struggle, overspending and maxing out my credit cards, I found myself at a fork in the road. I could either file bankruptcy and start over or I could build the necessary skills to build wealth, pay off debt and learn how to manage my money better. I chose the latter.

Now I am sharing my years of knowledge to help others get out of the constant stress that comes with being buried in debt and get back on track to financial success – whatever that may look like for you.

Debt Game Over is an unbiased informational website with a goal to help you make your own, educated decisions to get your finances under control and kick the debt game to the curb.

About Brittanie Pyper

Brittanie Pyper, Founder & Managing Editor

Hi, I’m Brittanie Pyper, a self-taught personal finance nerd who enjoys budgeting, making money, saving money and of course, living a life without debt and all the added stress.

When I am not geeking out over the numbers, I spend my time writing on my main blog Simplistically Living which focuses on a simpler way to live.

After spending many years writing about budgets and money saving challenges, I decided it was time to create a website dedicated to all things money, finance and getting rid of debt.

I’ve been in your position before – unable to pay bills, living paycheck to paycheck, and unable to make anything more than minimum payments on maxed out credit cards.

After spending years of crunching numbers and learning all I can on debt, interest rates, credit scores, and finances, I decided it was time to share my knowledge so I can help others do the same.

So, I hope you’ll stay a while and I hope this website brings you a game plan on how to change your financial future for the better.
